Membership
Bahrain Hostel Society is a member of
International Youth Hostel Federation, which is a membership organization.
By taking a membership, you can stay in all the hostels around the
world with cheaper night fees, and you are entitled to use all the
facilities available and have special discounts.
All members have to obey the local rules
of the Hostels you are staying with.
Non-members
may be allowed to stay at some hostels, but a supplement fee will apply.
Getting a
Membership
Membership Fee:
Bahrainis = BD5.300
Non Bahrainis = BD8.500
Youth (Age 12-18) = BD4.000
Children below 12 years are allowed only along with parents/ seniors
Overnight Fee:
Bed Charge for an overnight stay:
Members : BD4.500 = $12.00
Non Members : BD6.000 = $ 17.00
Members & non-members (12 - 18) : BD3.500 =
$9.40

How to
get Membership
Bahrainis and Expatriates working
in Bahrain are requested to visit BYHS Headquarters in Juffair (Hostel
No. 1) bringing with them their passport, CPR and two passport size pictures and to
fill in the membership form at the reception. Persons visiting Bahrain
(from other countries) can also become a member.
